Description
• Clean Power Alliance provides clean renewable energy at competitive rates to over three million residents. • Seeking two graduate level or post-graduate interns to work on public policy research projects. • Topics include financing options for infrastructure projects and renewable energy resource planning. • Interns will report to the Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs and work closely with the team.
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail • Ability to act with professionalism and confidentiality • Ability to conduct presentations with professionalism • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Excellent reading and writing skills • Organized, detail-oriented, highly self-motivated to stay on track of schedule • Excellent verbal communicator • Curious about the electricity/energy industry, with some basic knowledge of the electricity market and understanding of renewable energy technologies
Benefits
• Graduate & Post-Graduate Internship compensation ranges from $25.00-$35.00/hour, with exact compensation to be determined by Clean Power Alliance, dependent on skills and experience. • This is a part-time/temporary position. • Interns are only eligible for mandated benefits, such as sick pay, workers’ compensation, and Medicare contributions.
