📋 Description
•Analyze and optimize the performance of the core ClickHouse database. •Extend existing and add new performance tests. •Assist the Support Engineering team in debugging advanced performance issues. •Collaborate with core teams to assess the impact of new features on performance. •Engage with the open-source community, resolve issues, and review code.
🎯 Requirements
•Solid professional software development experience in C++ and experience with Unix Systems. •Strong knowledge in database internals and design. •Experience in performance engineering, ideally in a database or related fields. •Good communication and collaboration skills within engineering teams. •Willingness to work closely with the open-source community and participate in code reviews. •Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. •Passion for efficiency, availability, scalability, and data governance. •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
