Description

• Join TheHRchapter as a Principal Application Engineer to deliver customer value through product demonstrations and technical support. • Act as liaison between customers and internal teams, lead projects, and drive innovative solutions to ensure satisfaction and growth. • Travel approximately 40-50% within the U.S., with occasional travel to Mexico and Canada.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline. • 10-15+ years of experience in Technical Service, Engineering, or Development within the Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA) industry. • Hands-on expertise with adhesive coating or converting processes, including hot melt, UV curable, solvent-based, or water-based adhesives and coatings. • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex technical challenges. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with customers and internal stakeholders effectively. • Proven project management experience with a track record of successful execution and delivery. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and levels. • Preferred Qualifications: • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment used in PSA applications. • Experience with converting operations such as slitting. • A demonstrated ability to influence innovation and drive advancements in the industry.
