β’ Coast is seeking a Commercial Counsel to negotiate and manage legal agreements for solar projects. β’ Responsibilities include leading transactions, managing legal workstreams, and cross-functional collaboration.
β’ 3+ years of legal experience in the solar industry (preferably commercial and industrial solar) β’ Law degree (JD) required; experience in Big Law (1-3 years) is a plus β’ Direct experience negotiating MIPA, Site Lease, and PPA agreements β’ Strong understanding of solar project acquisitions, financing structures, and due diligence β’ Experience working with outside counsel and cross-functional deal teams β’ Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment β’ Highly detail-oriented and organized individual β’ Innovative and organized self-starter with the ability to work autonomously β’ Energetic and driven personality who thrives in a high-paced, dynamic, small-company environment
