📋 Description
• PLC Programming: Develop, modify, and debug PLC programs for Modicon controllers using ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagrams. • HMI/SCADA Development: Design, develop, and implement HMI/SCADA applications using AVEVA System Platform. • System Integration: Integrate PLC, HMI/SCADA systems with other plant systems and equipment including industrial networking protocols such as Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP. • System Testing and Commissioning: Perform thorough system testing, commissioning, and validation of automation systems. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to PLC, HMI/SCADA, and associated instrumentation. • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including system architecture, functional specifications, and test procedures. • Project Support: Provide technical support to project teams, ensuring the successful completion of automation projects on time and within budget. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency through upgrades and enhancements. • Safety Compliance: Ensure all automation systems are designed and implemented in compliance with relevant industry safety standards and regulations. • Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operation of automated processes.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation and control systems. • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AVEVA System Platform (formerly Wonderware System Platform) development. • Proficiency in programming Modicon PLCs. • Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP). • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs. • Excellent troubleshooting skills in PLC/HMI systems. • Good understanding of industrial automation best practices and safety standards. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Preferred Qualifications • Experience with other PLC brands such as Allen-Bradley or Siemens. • Experience with data acquisition and reporting systems • Experience with SQL databases and query languages • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, water, or oil and gas
