📋 Description
• Provide application, test, and quality support for key customers in the Seattle area for Coherent’s optical communications products • Support customer qualifications of Coherent products • Engage in discussions with customers and respond to direct technical inquiries • Drive customer product test and reliability requirements through the internal organization • Write Application Notes and white papers relevant to product application and test • Prepare and deliver product application presentations to customers • Analyze customer specifications and establish gap analyses • Provide feedback to both marketing and engineering • Provide support at trade shows as needed • Work as a team member with other FAEs worldwide • Some travel may be required as global conditions permit
🎯 Requirements
• University graduate – degree in engineering/sciences preferred • Minimum of 5 years in the communications industry with working experience in technical positions • Customer-facing experience a plus • Problem solving skills related to electronic/electrical, mechanical, and/or photonics products
