Description

• Leading a team of 5-6 engineers • Establishing team mechanisms and norms for effective and efficient execution • Collaborating with cross functional partners on the product and operational strategies • Coordinating with QA to triage incoming issues • Monitoring and triaging issues with our downstream partners • Establishing operating metrics and keeping them met • Owning product surface areas and features on: • UX on Mobile, Web, and Chrome Extension • Transaction scanning and simulation • Coordinating with security for client vulnerability assessment, threat modeling • Access and auth controls • Establishing and monitoring critical user journeys • Coordinating with Coinbase Wallet to coordinate features between products • Implementation across mobile surface areas of new or changing APIs • Testing, informing both manual eng or QA testing as well as automated e2e, integration, unit testing strategies • Client error monitoring

Requirements

• Ability to build, motivate, and mentor a team of passionate engineers • History of managing front-end centric teams/products • Experience managing a product roadmap • You recognize and leverage the strengths of your employees and challenge them to continue to grow • Ability to dive into technical architecture details, challenging the team when required and identifying opportunities to raise the engineering bar • Build relationships with engineering and cross-functional partners • Ability to influence without direct authority
