Description

• Conduct comprehensive analysis to identify and categorize threats, encompassing phishing attacks, user events, data compliance issues, and malware outbreaks • Perform in-depth investigations into large-scale cyber threats, employing a variety of analytical techniques and tools • Create new cyber security policies to keep the company compliant and reduce risk • Conduct routine cyber security audits to ensure the company maintains SOC 2 and other compliances • Work on obtaining SOC 2 and other compliance certifications • Research any new compliance laws and security threats • Participate in planning and contributing to the design, building, and implementation of security solutions • Contribute to ensuring the protection of company information, emphasizing availability, integrity, confidentiality, and availability • Assist in developing technical documentation and procedures for securing systems, servers, networks, and Internet systems, under guidance • Contribute to research and analyze new technologies, detailing their pros and cons, including cost implications and recommendations • Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences • Enhance communication skills to engage in critical discussions and resolve conflicts across different groups • Engage with vendors and partners, asking pertinent questions to clarify their offerings for your team • Break down technical analysis into accessible discussion points for non-technical staff, using examples, diagrams, and presentations • Assist the SOC team with any investigations or threats

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in auditing, compliance, SOC 2, GDPR, and internal cyber security practices/policies • Demonstrate at least 2 years of proven experience in auditing, creating security policies, and threat investigations • Have a minimum of 1 year of practical experience working with endpoints and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions • Exhibit the ability to discern patterns, anomalies, and issues across diverse threat vectors • Possess a solid grasp of common cybersecurity threats and terminology, including but not limited to phishing, malware, and data compliance regulations • Showcase proficient project management, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal • Familiarity with cloud applications such as Office 365, G-Suite, and AWS is preferred, with a keen interest in learning and adapting to emerging technologies
