Description

• Join our dynamic team, guiding our software development projects through all stages of the development lifecycle • Maintain our award-winning momentum by building and optimizing our web applications’ user interfaces using various platforms with an emphasis in Python programming • Lead a small team but should be an engineer first • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for both front-end and back-end applications • Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices • Perform code reviews, application builds, and mentor junior developers • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic • Leverage database expertise to design and optimize database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval • Write unit and integration tests • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in a timely manner • Research new and innovative technologies and discuss the pros and cons of adopting them

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Advanced degree preferred • 5+ years’ experience coding in Python using both procedural and object-oriented methodologies • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role • Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment • A portfolio of past projects and code samples is a plus
