Description

• Concept Plus is hiring a mid-level System Administrator • Part of a team tasked with the development and sustainment of web database applications for the Defense Health Agency • Work with other team members to design, develop and implement solutions • Document and present technical aspects of solutions • Support testing and validation of applications • Continual sustainment and maintenance of the environments including patching, upgrades, security monitoring and optimization • Provide WebLogic administration support • Management and troubleshooting of environments as needed • Patching, upgrading, developing deployment plans and other maintenance activities • Optimization of WebLogic applications and instances • UNIX system administration, specifically IBM AIX • Support and management of AWS GovCloud development environments • Evaluating DoD Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) • Work with the development team and customer to derive new requirements

Requirements

• Experience administering WebLogic 12c • Strong knowledge of WLST scripts, UNIX scripting and automation • Experience working in an Agile development team and be familiar with Agile methodologies • Must understand DoD cyber security requirements • Familiar with security aspects of maintaining servers and applications • Solid experience in system design and management • Strong knowledge in UNIX and Windows, especially with IBM AIX • Good understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills • Knowledge of various protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SOAP and REST • Security+ certification (may be obtained within 6 months of hire date) • Active Secret Clearance
