📋 Description

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in developing and executing automated test scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, and other modern automation frameworks. • The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our testing strategies, improving test coverage, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. • Experience with JIRA/Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking is essential. • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and other testing tools. • Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and End-to-End (E2E) testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). • Perform test data setup, environment configuration, and troubleshoot automation issues. • Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand features and identify test automation needs. • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure compatibility. • Track and manage test cases, execution results, and defects using JIRA. • Monitor test executions, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation in JIRA. • Implement performance and load testing where necessary. • Continuously optimize test scripts, improve execution speed, and enhance framework scalability. • Mentor junior testers and share best practices with the team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in automation testing with tools like Playwright and Selenium • Strong knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java • Experience with testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Supertest • Hands-on experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Proficiency in JIRA for defect tracking, test case management, and reporting • Solid understanding of testing concepts: Smoke, Regression, Integration, and Performance Testing • Proficiency in version control tools such as Git • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr) • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in agile teams
