• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Heap | by Contentsquare’s core Product Analytics technical surface areas, ensuring they meet Contentsquare’s growing scale and cross-sell opportunities. Work with technical stakeholders from across the company to solve big problems, align on technical direction, and make sure our systems continue to meet their evolving needs. Grow other developers on the team and set a high bar for engineering best practices. • Engage as an integral part of the Engineering team, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers throughout the product development lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and ongoing monitoring post-release.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing large frontend projects using a modern component-based Javascript framework • 5+ years experience with primarily frontend development, especially on single page applications built with React/Typescript stack • Preferably some good exposure to backend development (Nodejs/Postgres), although that is less critical for this role • Preferably some experience with visualization libraries, such as D3 or visx • A collaborative and intellectually curious approach to software development. You enjoy learning from and teaching others, and aren’t afraid of asking lots of questions. • Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing. We’re a distributed team all over the world, so we pride ourselves on our ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing across the team. • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team • Excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication across teams • A mindset that prioritizes MVP (Minimum Viable Product) principles, emphasizing simplicity and efficiency • Desire to work in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative environment, aligned with our company values • We aren't expecting you to know everything!
