📋 Description
• Organizational Overview Convention of States Action is a 501(c)(4) grassroots nonprofit organization committed to restoring America by living out our mission of building an engaged grassroots army of self-governing activists. • Position Overview The Research Assistant is a full-time member of the External Relations team, responsible for identifying, researching, and managing data regarding donors and donor prospects, while ensuring accurate data entry and financial tracking. • This role involves compiling and analyzing data to assist the External Relations team in identifying potential donors and new prospects, and updating current donor information. • This position requires strong organizational and analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong research and analytical skills • Experience with databases and at least one DMS (Salesforce preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and research tools (FEC database, FollowTheMoney, FreePeopleSearch, TruePeopleSearch, Spokeo.com, Melissa search, Hunter.io, Smarty.com, etc) • Excellent written communication and report writing abilities • The candidate must be highly loyal and trustworthy with a history of working in an environment where sensitive information is protected.
