• This is a fully remote role for candidates who are based outside of the New York Metropolitan area. • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States or Canada. • Energy storage is the key to unlocking a future powered by renewable resources. • The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of project execution, including scheduling, budgeting, and supplier management. • Integral to this is the ability to communicate with all internal and external stakeholders. • Conduct project meetings, communicate project status, and collaborate effectively to meet project deliverables. • Prepare requests for proposal, requirement documents, and cost estimates. • Manage and direct in-field construction and subcontracted resources. • Perform construction progress inspections for quality control and progress reporting purposes. • Cost Control – Create and maintain a project cost report to track performance. • Create and maintain project schedules for project success. • Document Control – Create and maintain project documentation related to project delivery. • Expedite Engineers and Suppliers to receive deliverables on schedule. • Support in contract negotiation and review.
• Demonstrated experience in construction project management, especially for complex assets in the electric or energy sector • Minimum of 5 years of relevant solar or energy storage project management experience (Solar PV, Energy Storage, or Electrical sectors) • Superior oral and written communication skills • Familiarity with industry standard project management methods such as Project Management Professional (PMP) best practices, ISO9000 guidelines, and other similar best practices. • Proficiency with Project Planning and Management Software, Procore, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Project, and other similar software CAD drawing and/or BIM familiarity • Experience in supporting in contract negotiation and establishing design and build contracts • Ability to apply a broad range of knowledge in various engineering disciplines (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical • Commitment to Safety in the workplace (OSHA and other federal, state and local safety practices)
