📋 Description

• Coordinate design and pre-construction services • Manage collaborative design and integration of the ConXtech system • Oversee day-to-day management of construction projects • Prepare overall project plans including construction schedules • Evaluate project progress and construction practices • Review and interpret proposed designs and building specifications • Authorize contracts and approve contractor invoices for payment • Research and prepare reports on costs and procedures • Keep management informed of project progress and issues • Facilitate monthly billing and required payments • Coordinate with detailing, purchasing, fabrication and construction

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Construction Management or Engineering) or equivalent experience • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the structural steel construction industry • An understanding of commercial construction processes • Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on field experience • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to effectively function as a team • Leadership abilities to manage several direct reports • Ability to make key decisions • Excellent time management skills • Strong negotiation skills • Proficient modeling and detailing experience with Tekla Structures • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Microsoft Teams • Competence in software tools: Procore, Sage, Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD, SketchUp, BlueBeam • Experience with scheduling software preferred • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
