📋 Description
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute events that enhance audience engagement and drive revenue. • Execute on the end-to-end management of events, source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships. • Work closely with editorial, marketing, and sales teams to align events with organizational objectives. • Monitor event performance, provide post-event reports, and recommendations for improvements.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within a media or non-profit organization. • Exceptional project management and organizational skills. • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in event management software and tools. • Creativity and problem-solving skills to design unique event experiences. • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. • Knowledge of the media industry and its audience dynamics is highly desirable. • Flexibility to travel and willingness to at times work irregular hours.
