Description

• We seek a highly skilled Senior Data Platform Engineer with a strong background in building and managing large-scale, high-performance data processing systems. • The ideal candidate will have experience with batch and streaming data systems, deep expertise in cloud technologies, and a proven track record in delivering robust, scalable solutions. • Design, build, and maintain scalable data processing systems for batch and real-time data. • Develop integrations, backend APIs, and microservices to support complex data workflows. • Work with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Snowflake, with familiarity in GCP as a plus. • Implement best practices for data engineering, including data modeling, performance optimization, and monitoring. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that align with business needs. • Leverage proficiency in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript for building data platform components and services. • Design and develop IoT data solutions to support real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics (preferred).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. • At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Data Platform Engineer in large-scale environments. • Proven experience with cloud-native data services, including AWS and Snowflake. • Strong programming skills in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript/JavaScript. • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development. • Familiarity with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, emphasizing data integrity and efficiency. • Experience with IoT data is preferred.
