β€’ Cornelis Networks delivers high performance scale-out networking solutions for AI and HPC datacenters. β€’ The main job will center on software development of device drivers and Linux Kernel support for network interconnects. β€’ Required to work closely with architects and hardware developers to develop and debug device driver and networking software. β€’ Plays a highly visible role, working directly with the Kernel.org community.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ 3 + Years’ Experience with software development in the Linux Kernel including extensive experience in C coding and using git β€’ Experience in one or more scripting language (TCL, Python, Perl, Shell-scripting) β€’ Experience with advanced networking for HPC β€’ Track record of supporting open-source projects especially Linux Kernel β€’ Familiarity with upper-layer protocols such as IPoIB, SRP etc. β€’ Ability to use debuggers and protocol analyzers and debug challenging multi-threaded and/or asynchronous communications problems β€’ Proficient in performance profiling, tuning, and debugging of performance in kernel space including use of kprobes, tracepoints β€’ Understanding of traditional network protocols such as, TCP/IP β€’ Working knowledge of scalable algorithms and virtualization β€’ Excellent communication skills, needs to be able to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, marketing, customers, and open source contributors
