📋 Description
• Responsible for the consolidated month-end close process • Either compile or review balance sheet reconciliations for all accounts • Subject matter expert in revenue recognition (ASC 606) • Consolidate the financial reporting results for both internal and external distribution • Work alongside the Controller for all technical accounting matters • Serve as the primary contact for the annual external audit • Oversee the billing process • Manage accounts payable (AP) • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve automation • Leverage Sage Intacct to enhance reporting, analysis, and workflow efficiencies • Assist in the implementation of new accounting policies, tools, and systems
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA strongly preferred • 5+ years prior experience in full cycle accounting • Ideal to have public accounting background (audit) • Prior experience with revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 • Proven track record of success in managing financial reporting for a private equity backed company • Prior experience with Sage Intacct ERP strongly preferred
