📋 Description
• Assigns cases to outside counsel and evaluates their performance. • Responsible for maintaining control of files and litigation costs. • Develops, prepares, and implements claims litigation strategy. • Provides legal advice and counsel to claim personnel. • May attend pertinent trials but is not attorney of record. • May provide oversight and supervision to outside counsel on claims-related litigation.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of insurance industry and/or insurance defense experience. • Demonstrated experience managing insurance claims litigation and coverage issues. • Trial Experience preferred. • Must have passed the Bar exam and maintain an active law license.
