Description

• QuillBot is an AI-powered writing platform on a mission to reimagine writing. • As a senior UI developer, you will be building and maintaining our design system across multiple platforms and brands. • Work with a great team of designers, developers, and product managers tackling interesting system design challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end development experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on building and maintaining design systems at scale. Experience in developing pixel-perfect UI components for various platforms (web, extensions, etc.). • Expertise in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, and front-end tooling such as Webpack, ESLint, and Prettier • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Strong understanding of code versioning tools, particularly Git, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. • Deep understanding of web accessibility standards and experience building products that are inclusive of users with varying abilities. Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD • Excellent written and oral communication skills. You should have examples of prior documentation work you have done. • Brownie points: Experience managing multi-brand design systems across platforms, languages, and markets. Knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques. Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress. Animation proficiency, including CSS animations, Rive, Lottie, etc.
