• Write code that thousands of researchers rely on every day. • Guide and influence the evolution of our front-end along with your teammates. • Guide the team on the direction of our front-end architecture. • Guide the team on front-end best practices through technical workshops, code reviews and pair programming. • Work to refine the team's processes to improve development, quality assurance, and delivery. • Work alongside a product manager and designer to help shape product specifications. • Be part of a small tight-knit, high-achieving team that values trust and respect for one another.
🎯 Requirements
• Strong front end experience, with a willingness and ability to help out across the stack. • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, React, and Typescript. • Ideally, you have experience in building accessible user interfaces. • A pragmatic approach to refactoring and modernizing legacy code. • Some experience in building and deploying in Ruby on Rails. • Great communication skills, both written and verbal. • A reasoned and pragmatic approach to software development and testing. • A love of problem-solving, investigating problems and determining the appropriate fix. • Experience working in an agile development environment.
