Description
•The Benefits Analyst will provide strong knowledge to the benefits function •Lead benefit related activities to ensure programs remain competitive •Drive identification and prioritization of opportunities for improvement within Benefits processes •Responsible for developing, documenting and implementing consistent and compliant processes •Focus on ensuring compliance with all benefit plan legislation •Maintain knowledge and understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, the Affordable Care Act, and other regulatory requirements
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related fields •In lieu of a bachelor’s degree 6+ years in a progressive benefits role •5+ years of professional industry experience in the Benefits Field with a focus on H&W programs •Able to demonstrate sound knowledge of ERISA, ACA requirements •SHRM-CP/PHR or CEBS certification preferred •Experience with union environment a plus •Familiarity with UKG preferred •Must have strong working knowledge of Excel and/or Microsoft Suite •Experience in leading and implementing health and welfare programs •Working knowledge and understanding of ERISA plans •Demonstrable ability to interpret and communicate programs and policies •Must have strong analytical skills and ability to create meaningful reporting •Strong communication and collaboration skills •Ability to write and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences •Excellent listening skills •Ability to follow policies and procedures •Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day
