•Come join our collaborative and innovative team at DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations! •DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations has been an industry leader in the design and supply of high-voltage, open-air substations, and switchyards since 1965. •Over a half-century of building meaningful relationships with our customers and vendors boils down to one thing: people. •We take pride in our collaborative approach where everything we do is designed to deliver the project the right way, your way. •Though we have grown over the years, and now offer new innovations like our Factory-Built Substations, our age-old commitment will never change: to take care of you like family. •DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations, a Crest Industries company, is searching for a well-qualified and experienced candidate to fill the Company’s West Coast Regional Sales Manager role. •This position requires a technical sales professional with a proven track record of selling complex engineered solutions. •This position will be responsible for growing the company’s customer base and increasing the company’s brand awareness within the high-voltage industry. •Our Regional Sales Manager(s) are responsible for relationship development, execution of sales, sales strategy development and implementation, business planning, and interface with proposal and project managers of the company. •The West Coast Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for seeking out and developing utility and non-utility customers within the Western Region of the United States. •The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for researching and developing prospective customers through cold calling and leveraging existing relationships. •This position will ultimately be responsible for developing and executing a successful sales strategy. •The Western Territory covers - California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Alaska.

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or associated program and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales/account management •Experience communicating with and influencing customers within the High Voltage industry preferred •Existing relationships with key players at US Utilities within the transmission and distribution side of the business preferred •Experience with Microsoft Products – Access, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Excel required •Strong written and verbal communication skills required •Strong research, analysis, negotiation, relationship building and organization skills are required
