Description
• Conduct research on complex technical accounting issues in accordance with GAAP and organizational protocols • Review and analyze emerging accounting standards, assess their potential impact on the company, and support the implementation of necessary adjustments to comply with these standards • Prepare monthly close data, journal entries, and account reconciliation for technical accounting areas • Assist in the implementation and documentation of processes and procedures for internal controls • As necessary, assist in ad-hoc projects and any technical accounting requests • Evaluate, update and maintain accounting policies and procedures in line with U.S. GAAP
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) • 2+ years of public accounting experience working on public companies • Experience with SAAS companies a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, NetSuite experience a plus • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly and concisely
