📋 Description
• The Staff Accountant functions as a key contributor within the Accounting team and plays a key role in various accounting functions • Supports the monthly general ledger close process, with a focus on ASC 606 revenue recognition • Prepares and reconciles monthly balance sheet accounts and analyzes general ledger account activity • Assists with external audits by providing necessary support and documentation • Success in this role requires an analytical mindset, self-direction and strong work ethic for time-sensitive deliverables
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline • 2+ years of accounting experience • Excellent accounting and operational skills with strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software • The position involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, extensive computer use, and phone interaction
