Description

• Understand the business needs, usability gaps, and UX opportunities • Work with UX managers and cross-functional stakeholders to develop quarterly plans • Manage the entire design process from the initial concept through to execution • Deliver solutions that drive impact to Cruise • Partner with research teams to ensure product usability • Partner with, and present to, diverse stakeholder groups • Ensure engineering velocity by planning deliverables accordingly

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in product design, UX/UI design, or a similar area • Deep knowledge of design fundamentals, human-computer interaction, and user experience best practices • Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and project management • Aptitude for, and demonstrated ability in, rapidly learning new/deep product areas • Skilled in using design and prototyping software like Figma • Experienced in performing user research and usability testing • Driven by a passion to tackle complex challenges and a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement
