Description

• Shape and execute the visual style of the game's user interface • Collaborate with the Art Director and internal teams • Create comps/prototypes using Figma, Photoshop, and After Effects • Provide clear and concise feedback to ensure alignment with quality standards • Refine and polish final UI assets using industry-standard software • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as style guides and technical specifications • Mentor and provide feedback to UI artists • Stay updated on industry trends and participate in cross-discipline discussions

Requirements

• Experience as a Senior or Lead UI Artist, contributing to high-quality UI Art for PC/Console games • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback and art direction • Proficiency in advanced design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Photoshop/Illustrator, and After Effects) and their integration into game engines, such as Unreal Engine • An understanding of the technical constraints of commercial game engines • Ability to manage one or more UI artists • Strong graphic design skills, experience with motion graphics or animation, knowledge of the principles of typography, as well as basic wireframing skills • A strong portfolio that showcases advanced UI artistry, including high-fidelity final assets, a range of visual styles, process work from concept to completion, innovative solutions to UI challenges, and examples of UI animations or motion design
