Description

• Looking for an experienced engineer with a Full-Stack background to join our engineering team at Disco! • Help us build both exciting enhancements and brand new products. • Join an extremely diverse and distributed team in a remote-first company that emphasizes efficiency and collaboration.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience • Advanced proficiency in a scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, PHP, Ruby, etc. • Strong grasp of software optimization, scalable architecture, and the application of design patterns and best practices • Proven track record of unblocking themselves and assisting others through code review and mentorship • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve complex issues independently • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical challenges and solutions to a varied audience • Strong comfort with both leveraging 3rd party APIs as well as maintaining and building the versioning of internal and external 1st party APIs • Firm grasp on Agile software development methodologies • Enjoy working collaboratively within a distributed team • Comfort in working with containerization (Docker ideally)
