📋 Description

• This is a remote position. • Seeking a Licensed Structural Engineer with building design experience. • Contribute to combating the affordable housing crisis. • Define success through constructability and quality control procedures. • Perform and direct detailed building design, including structural elements and systems. • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes. • Mentor more junior staff and develop them for growth within their discipline and the firm. • Collaborate and manage local design teams in McKinney, Texas.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. • Professional Engineering (PE) or Structural Engineering (SE) license. • 4+ years of building design experience related to the structural design of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood frame structures. • Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam, as well as analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, etc. • Experience filling the role of project engineer for several projects occurring concurrently. • Strong understanding and knowledge of industry codes, including ASCE standards, IBC, ACI codes, AISC standards, and relevant local building codes.
