Description
• Conducts complex analysis of markets, supply chains, and supply base; applies analysis to sourcing process improvement initiatives. • Identifies qualified suppliers and executes sound source selection processes. • Has regular interface with suppliers within area of responsibility and maintains the supplier relationship. • Understands how key procurement principles are used toward assuring supply. • Sources specialized items and executes complex sourcing strategies in accordance with agreed upon sourcing strategy / plans at the optimum cost, quality and relationship.
Requirements
• Engineering graduate with 12+ years of experience in Procurement. • Complete commodity Handling of Forgings (Hot & Cold), Casting commodity. Some high level knowledge of Fasteners, Stamping & Machining is preferred • Contact management, RFQ Handling, Price settlement & Negotiations, Supplier Relationship management experience preferred • Global Procurement Exposure • Understanding the Cost structure, should costing, Spend Analysis and strategy decision
