Description

• Provides strategic level legal expertise and leadership • Advises on complex projects, collaborating across legal and compliance teams • Establishes close partnerships with assigned business leaders • Delivers innovative legal solutions anticipating future legal issues • Monitors and reviews complex new laws, regulations, and case law • Proactively networks with decision makers to reach team goals • Communicates effectively across various audiences • Assists in development of corporate strategic plans and policies

Requirements

• Juris Doctor or L.L.B. Degree • Authorized to practice law in Wisconsin or applicable jurisdiction • 8+ years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and/or artificial intelligence laws and regulations • In-depth knowledge and experience in processes and procedures necessary to effectively represent TruStage before government and regulatory agencies • Ability to recognize current and anticipate future developments in the legal environment and market • Ability to interact with clients and parties fostering trust and communication • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and experience analyzing complex transactions and issues • Ability to lead by influence, organize committees, and effectively access resources • Ability to negotiate and communicate clearly
