• Responsible for the strategic design, implementation, and ongoing management of cloud and hosting infrastructure. • Provides senior escalation authority and support for complex production issues. • Guides and provides direction to lower-level support teams. • Collaborates closely with architecture teams to ensure alignment with cloud and hosting initiatives. • Monitors and evaluates delivered solutions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. • Designs, implements, and manages scalable, secure, and reliable cloud and hosting environments across multiple platforms and locations. • Develops and enforces best practices for cloud and hosting management. • Ensures compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements. • Provides expert guidance during incident and problem resolution. • Manages compliance with technical infrastructure standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. • Identifies opportunities to optimize infrastructure performance and improve operational efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related professional work experience. • 10+ years of experience in cloud and hosting infrastructure management with at least 5 years in a senior or lead engineering role. • Demonstrated experience providing senior escalation authority and support in complex, hybrid, multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). • Proven history of guiding support teams, ensuring adherence to technical standards, policies, and compliance requirements. • Expertise in managing and optimizing multi-cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Advanced skills with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, CloudFormation, and ARM templates. • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management. • Extensive experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus) and logging platforms (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk). • Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI), and best practices. • Demonstrated hands-on capacity to diagnose complex technical challenges in high-pressure, production critical environments. • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
