📋 Description
• Life360 is hiring a Staff Cloud Engineer. • Role involves building infrastructure for millions of families worldwide. • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineers. • Define and execute technical direction for multiple teams and projects. • Hands-on experience in writing code and effective communication across teams.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, related field or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of experience programming in Java, PHP, Python, or other formal programming language • Expert level experience managing medium to large scale deployments on AWS (~5000 instances, 50+ accounts) • Expert level experience with Infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation; config management/provisioning tools: Ansible, Chef, etc. • Strong Kubernetes experience deploying and running at scale (10k+ containers) • Strong Build / Automation / CI/CD experience • Proficient in multi-threaded design and implementation • Database knowledge is a plus to have • Excellent interpersonal skills with a highly collaborative working style. Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ideally based out of the North America East Coast time zone to collaborate with teams across multiple regions.
