📋 Description

• Hi, I’m Eric, Senior Controller at Customer.io. • This person will work with me and our CFO, to manage and maintain the financial record keeping and reporting of the company. • This role will have a direct impact on the company by contributing to the development, maintenance, and review of the monthly financial results. • Lead and oversee the month-end close process • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. • Streamline accounting processes and leverage technology to increase efficiency and accuracy. • Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors. • Collaborate with cross functional departments to implement new procurement, payroll and subscription billing tools.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience • Thorough understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements. • CPA preferred • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
