Description

• Responsible for telephone-based assessment, triage, consultation, counseling, and informational services • Provides risk, substance abuse, and mental health assessments • Develops immediate action/safety plans based on level of urgency • Collaborates with professional teams for positive clinical outcomes • Maintains confidentiality of member information • Documents required information to meet risk management and regulatory requirements • Maintains current independent behavioral health license

Requirements

• 1+ years of crisis intervention skills • Valid unrestricted independent professional behavioral health clinical license per state regulations • Preferred: 1+ years of EAP, Behavioral Health, or Social Services experience • Familiarity with brief therapy models and Motivational Interviewing • Call Center work experience preferred • Experience with diverse populations preferred • Ability to establish and maintain rapport quickly • Experience in facilitating patient/client positive behavior change • Strong computer literacy skills
