• Fully remote Utilization Manager Nurse Consultant role. • Reviews services to assure medical necessity. • Applies clinical expertise for appropriate benefit utilization. • Facilitates safe and efficient discharge planning. • Works closely with facilities and providers. • Utilizes clinical skills for healthcare services coordination. • Communicates with providers to facilitate care.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse. • Must hold active and unrestricted RN licensure in state of residence. • 1+ year(s) of Med/Surg experience. • 1+ year(s) of inpatient utilization experience. • 1+ year(s) of experience with Microsoft Office applications. • Willing to work late shifts and weekends as needed. • Must have dedicated work area with high speed internet.
