Description

• Oversee complex legal services for financing of utility-scale energy storage and renewable projects • Serve as legal lead on finance matters • Assist finance team in executing project and corporate financings • Negotiate and aid in drafting key provisions in financing documents • Enhance internal transaction processes and contract templates • Ensure project execution and offtake contracts are financeable • Support tracking of corporate guarantees • Provide legal support for cross-functional teams • Oversee and manage external counsel on finance matters • Identify and communicate material risks and proposed solutions • Ensure efficient planning and execution of transactions

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school • Active bar licensure in at least one US jurisdiction • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in project financing in the renewable energy or energy storage industry • Expertise in project/portfolio and corporate financing matters, including debt, tax equity and ITC/PTC adders • Experience with construction debt warehouse facilities or other multi-project debt warehouse facilities an asset • Strong knowledge of renewable energy project development and related contracting standards • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency • Excellent organizational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills • Highest standards of ethics and integrity
