📋 Description

• The Application Engineer position supports Danfoss Climate Solutions in North America with a focus on air conditioning and refrigeration OEM sales by providing component and system expertise for overall support in the selection, qualification, and application of all Climate Solutions components. • This position works together with the Regional and Global Key Account Managers to realize the overall sales and business development plans for the region. • The Application Engineer is a vital technical link to our customers and ensures that critical application knowledge obtained in the field is communicated back into our factories for continuous improvement and development of new products. • This is a remote position for someone located in the United States.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in HVAC/Refrigeration • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required • Willing and able to travel regionally (and sometimes internationally) - approximately 40% travel required • Account management and business processes tool experience desirable • Global experience preferable • Strong coordination & communication skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently • Entrepreneurial as well as strong initiative & ability to lead/drive process improvements • Relationship builder and team player skills in a global environment • Ability to balance the pressure & demands inherent to sales, including sound judgment in handling critical situations • Ability to help advance our market share, against strong competition • Required to secure & maintain confidentiality of Danfoss & customer projects • MS Office experience is required, SAP/BW/CRM experience is desirable
