Description

• Manage the team’s roadmap, prioritizing initiatives • Work with stakeholders to identify levers to bring projects back on track • Capture and prioritize all inbound requests • Mentor team members, aligning them to opportunities • Set clear expectations and conduct 1:1s • Provide planning using Agile methodologies • Conduct code reviews and knowledge-sharing presentations • Participate in on-call rotation, monitoring system health

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field • Three years of related software development experience • Writing software and performing code review in Java, Scala, Python, and SQL • Using frameworks including Guice, Akka, and Spring • Engineering tools including Git, Grafana, Kibana, OpsGenie, and Snowflake • Designing, implementing, and reviewing a high-throughput, low-latency distributed system • Integrating AWS technologies including DynamoDB, SQS, SNS • Leading product initiatives with the product team using the Agile methodology • Mentoring, coaching, and onboarding junior engineers • Managing and leading scrum processes such as retro feedback sessions
