📋 Description
• Reddit is a community of communities. • The Ads Retrieval team plays a critical role in identifying and surfacing the right ads to users. • As the Engineering Manager for Ads Retrieval, you will lead a team of ML engineers to develop large-scale retrieval systems and candidate sourcing models that drive the top of the funnel for our Ads platform. • Responsibilities include setting technical vision, overseeing model development, mentoring your team, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of engineering management experience, leading ML or related technical teams. • 6+ years of industry experience with large-scale ML, ideally in information retrieval, recommendation systems, or ads. • 4+ years of Hands-on expertise with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch. • Experience deploying ML models to production and measuring their performance through both technical and business metrics. • Familiarity with ads ecosystems, marketplace dynamics, and candidate retrieval is a major plus.
