Description

• Provide subject matter expertise on a combination of communications deliverables and project management tasks. • Act as strategic advisor and consultant with the client, providing expert advice and guidance to help solve complex problems. • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and provide proactive solutions and recommendations. • Draft, edit, proofread, and advise on communications content and materials. • Develop and manage project timelines and processes, ensuring all communications projects are delivered on time and within budget. • Provide regular project updates and performance reports to clients and stakeholders. • Stay up to date with industry trends and communications best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications and/or marketing, with a minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience supporting communications and marketing campaigns, preferably in an agency or federal contractor setting. • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. • Excellent writing skills with experience developing and/or editing a variety of communication products, including but not limited to blog and social media posts, presentation materials, outreach toolkits, one-pagers, newsletter articles, and other traditional communications products. • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage a diverse workload. • Ability to work on multiple projects and manage multiple deadlines. • Experience writing or editing communications products focused on sensitive topics is a plus. • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. • Active or previous VA clearance strongly preferred.
