β’ DCG is seeking a Senior Director to serve as Portfolio Manager for our Department of State (DOS) contracts and task orders. β’ Oversee project managers and their teams across the agency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and strategic and innovative solutions. β’ Play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our agency footprint by cultivating stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities within DOS and related agencies. β’ Interact directly with project managers, clients, partners, and employees to ensure smooth project operations. β’ Oversee the timely delivery of deliverables, ensuring adequate staffing across programs, maintaining employee engagement, achieving client satisfaction, executing contract modifications, and managing subcontracts effectively. β’ Responsible for budget management, including monitoring resource utilization, expenditures and ensuring financial compliance.
β’ A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience as a project or program manager supporting marketing, research, and/or communications campaigns, preferably in an agency setting, including managing a portfolio of mid-to-large federal contracts and teams β’ Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of federal contracts, preferably including DOS or other agency with an international focus β’ Well-versed in program financials (LCATs, CLINs, funding mechanisms, procurement through varying types of federal contracts) β’ A customer-focused, flexible, astute leader who has won the respect of customers, peers, and employees β’ Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of rapidly shifting priorities β’ Experience facilitating resolution of customer requirements, including helping to identify and document capability gaps, formulating and developing solutions, and participating in and contributing to strategic discussions β’ Proven to have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage a diverse workload β’ Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve and drive outcomes β’ Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, while supporting the learning and development of team members
