Description

• DCG is seeking a Senior Director to serve as Portfolio Manager for our Department of State (DOS) contracts and task orders. • Oversee project managers and their teams across the agency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results and strategic and innovative solutions. • Play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our agency footprint by cultivating stakeholder relationships and identifying opportunities within DOS and related agencies. • Interact directly with project managers, clients, partners, and employees to ensure smooth project operations. • Oversee the timely delivery of deliverables, ensuring adequate staffing across programs, maintaining employee engagement, achieving client satisfaction, executing contract modifications, and managing subcontracts effectively. • Responsible for budget management, including monitoring resource utilization, expenditures and ensuring financial compliance.

Requirements

• A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience as a project or program manager supporting marketing, research, and/or communications campaigns, preferably in an agency setting, including managing a portfolio of mid-to-large federal contracts and teams • Demonstrated success managing a portfolio of federal contracts, preferably including DOS or other agency with an international focus • Well-versed in program financials (LCATs, CLINs, funding mechanisms, procurement through varying types of federal contracts) • A customer-focused, flexible, astute leader who has won the respect of customers, peers, and employees • Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of rapidly shifting priorities • Experience facilitating resolution of customer requirements, including helping to identify and document capability gaps, formulating and developing solutions, and participating in and contributing to strategic discussions • Proven to have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, an eagerness to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage a diverse workload • Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve and drive outcomes • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, while supporting the learning and development of team members
