Description
• Improve the end-to-end process for software development, testing, and deployment. • Optimize resource utilization and scalability of our infrastructure. • Streamline the deployment process to minimize manual interference. • Enhance monitoring and logging solutions. • Implement strategies and practices to release software updates without impacting customers. • Lead the transformation of our product into a multi-cloud solution. • Drive the adoption of cloud provider-agnostic solutions. • Implement and uphold industry best practices for security across our product and infrastructure. • Implement and enforce two-factor authentication (2FA). • Utilize the full potential of Istio to manage service mesh and microservices architecture. • Leverage the advanced security features offered by Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 7+ years relevant work experience. • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role. • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Helm, and Helmfile. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Familiarity with service mesh and Istio. • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible. • Expertise in monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus/Loki, Kiali, and ELK-stack. • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and application performance monitoring.
