Description

• Deep Sky is the world’s first gigaton-scale carbon removal project developer. • We build carbon removal infrastructure projects and sell carbon credits to remove billions of tonnes of CO2 from the Earth’s atmosphere. • We have strong fundamentals in expert market systems, scaling startups, and capital relationships. • We envision tech-based carbon removal projects as a benchmark for durable carbon removal. • The planet’s carbon equilibrium must be restored through drastic emissions reductions and carbon removal. • Carbon removal facilities will be considered everyday infrastructure, valued for their services. • As a Carbon Capture Engineer, you will support development and optimization of direct air capture systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. • Previous work experience (including internships and co-ops) in carbon capture, gas handling, or other emerging climate technologies • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively. Start-up experience is preferred. • Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software is preferred (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB, COMSOL). • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently. • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
