📋 Description
• Deliver paralegal support to the derivatives team. • Negotiate and draft master agreements and ancillary documents for securities lending, repo and derivatives (GMRA, GMSLA and ISDA). • Conduct legal due diligence. • Liaise with clients and counterparties in a timely, courteous and professional manner. • Manage client tracking tables using Microsoft Word and Excel. • Draft emails and correspondence on behalf of fee earners. • Undertake legal research. • Provide administrative support to fee earners. • File and maintain correspondence and documentation.
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of three A levels at grade A, or equivalent. • A qualification in law, minimum 2.1 (Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law). • LPC or equivalent (preferred but not essential). • Previous paralegal experience (helpful but not essential). • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and Outlook). • Ability to work well under pressure and to very tight deadlines (essential). • Ability to organise, prioritise and multi-task. • Ability to work accurately with excellent attention to detail. • Demonstrate drive and initiative. • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to deal effectively with Partners and professionals across the firm. • An ability and willingness to be flexible. • Sociable and a good team player.
