β’ As the Lead Analyst Retail Pricing Analytics, you will be supporting the Pricing Strategy β Competitive Insights team. β’ In this role, you will work closely with leadership to analyze market trends in the home improvement industry, create pricing initiatives, design/optimize competitive pricing strategies and consult on driving business KPIs and reporting. β’ This role requires strong domain understanding (Retail/e-commerce space, Web Scraping), technical acumen along strategy consulting experience to drive success. β’ Specific job duties include (but are not limited to) work closely with clients to discuss and understand their business needs. β’ Design data collection strategies and work with the web scraping team to break down the business needs into data requirements. β’ Build and manage SQL based automation pipelines to ensure scrape data is available for reporting. β’ Be able to synthesize data findings to generate insights, develop strategic business presentations and consult on achieving business success metrics. β’ Use structured problem-solving techniques and frameworks to identify and scope the business use case. β’ Ideate, identify and deliver solutions to ensure business-aligned outcomes through collaborative iterations and feedback. β’ Support the business in achieving excellence through analytical/consulting solutions and data-driven insights. β’ Effectively work with a global team (USA-based) and help coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively drive progress on workstreams. β’ Own end-to-end communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, global teams, across verticals in the client organization. β’ Be able to work with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and pivot quickly to changing business priorities. β’ Curious mindedness, detail orientation and proactive actioning are encouraged. β’ Ability to stay up to date on the latest developments in the market and able to provide new ideas to help the business stay competitive.
β’ +3-4 years of experience in retail analytics preferably around the pricing and/or merchandising analytics. β’ Advanced in SQL skills (BigQuery preferred) β’ Experience in building data backed presentations for senior pricing and merchandising leaders. β’ Strong data intuition, analysis, synthesis and data story telling skills. β’ Advanced Tableau skills β’ Good understanding and application of descriptive statistics is a must. β’ Work organization and client expectation management skills. β’ Python/programming experience is a plus. If not, should be willing to pick it up quickly. β’ Understanding of data scraping and nuances around price comparisons with competitors.
