Description
• Dentsu is seeking VP, Planning responsible for developing a high-performing team • Providing guidance on client and media planning strategy • Oversee the entire planning process for dedicated client groups • Collaborates with trafficking, media operations and media buying teams to achieve client goals • Enforcing and providing input into overall media planning direction • Overseeing quality standards of team’s planning strategy and execution • Report to the SVP, Media Solutions • Accountable for outputs and development of media planning team for assigned group of client(s) • Interpret research and provide insight and thought leadership • Coaches team to develop planning strategies maximizing media dollars and efficiency • Supports media buying teams throughout campaign activation process • Facilitates implementation of quality control processes across client groups • Prepares reporting documentation for clients demonstrating executed strategy • Participates and presents in new business efforts for Canadian Network • Instills a data-driven, continuous improvement culture
Requirements
• 10+ years of media planning experience focused on All Media Channels and a minimum of 3-years’ experience leading a team. • Ability to coach and develop and retain top talent while addressing performance. • Knowledge of bid management, campaign management and optimization process with key Data, Supply and DSP partners. • Previous experience with support new business efforts at the Network or brand level. • Subject matter expert in developing media planning strategies that meet and exceed client campaign goals and objectives. • Advanced knowledge of Media Planning and Research Tools • Ability to instill confidence and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders. • Advanced analytical skills and proficient with numbers and budgets to illustrate client business objectives. • Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
