📋 Description

• Provide legal support for the Company’s renewables project development activities • Work together with the Company’s in-house counsel • Prepare and/or review legal documents • Assist in land procurement and compliance with land contracts • Investigate facts for development projects • Assist in managing work of outside counsel • Develop and maintain filing systems and databases of corporate and legal documents • Initiate and complete assigned projects

🎯 Requirements

• High School / GED Law Clerk/Paralegal Diploma or equivalent education • 5+ years of experience working as a real estate paralegal in a fast-paced and dynamic law firm or in-house environment • Experience working on land and project development matters • Working through title searches and procuring title insurance policies • Reviewing and drafting deeds, leases, land options and easements • Ability to review and procure ALTA surveys • Familiarity with local permitting processes, and equipment supply and construction contracts a plus • Demonstrated working knowledge of computer applications such as Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Demonstrated effective written and oral communications skills • Attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility in handling multiple tasks • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate work while showing initiative and sound judgment • Demonstrated problem solving, decision making and analytical skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
