Description

• Key member of the Software team • Responsible for gathering requirements and implementing DCS’s Warehouse Execution System (WES) Software • Travel to client sites for software configuration and commissioning (60%-75% travel) • Provide end user training to clients • Develop standards and support integrations with PLC-based controls systems • Address issues found during internal QA and onsite commissioning • Provide software status updates to project leadership • Support a culture of technical innovation and continuous learning • Represent the Software department with high ethical standards

Requirements

• Experience working with material handling equipment/software • Experience implementing software solutions for clients • Comfortable with the Linux command line to troubleshoot application issues • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience • General knowledge of computer networking (TCP/IP) • Capable and willing to fill necessary software roles (QA, Implementor, Support, IT) • Able to deliver results in fast-paced and high-stress environments • Excellent communication skills • Self-motivated performer who can execute with minimum supervision • Creative problem-solver able to manage multiple complex tasks • Proficient in MS Office products and software project management suites
